In the hillsides of Silverlake, Los Angeles we are designing a 5-unit townhouse type subdivision. This project is actually a "small lot" subdivision, however we choose to create separate dwellings instead of dwellings that are attached.

This design allows for more outdoor living space and more private space. It also allows for windows on the side elevations and considerably more natural light inside each unit.

Additional exterior space is provided on the roof which is screened on three sides for privacy and to contain noise.
